No two manufacturing or retail sites are the same. Big/ small, old/ new, rural/ urban are just some of the multitude of ways in which they vary. What goes on inside? Chilled, frozen and ambient sites will have different risk profiles, as will sites handling dried food products when compared to those handling fresh produce. Meat products or vegetable products? The list of variables is endless.
If a pest management regime is to be successful then it is essential that the contract specification is tailored to the specific needs of the site, and such tailoring can be done only through a process of risk assessment.
